While I am not a mud enthusiast, my tastes in collecting also include porcelain insulators that are one of a kind pieces too. Just got this M-2435 Victor that has extremely bold finger prints on the top of the umbrella, plus the thumb print on the underside of the umbrella. Obviously someone picked this guy up from the drying line while the glazing was still wet, leaving their finger prints frozen in time on the surface of this insulator. I am not sure of the age of this piece, but just seeing these prints makes me wonder exactly WHO this person was and how they lived back then. Thanks Elton, I love it!
