Barely visible against the mountain is one of the last intact Mountain States Power Co. poles to be replaced. There are other old MSP poles still in the Tillamook P.U.D. system but this one has the original crossarm and insulators (which I am promised) on it. It will be replaced by the new corner pole shown closer to the road. Note: This pole is now gone but the line is still in use. I did get the insulators, just ordinary mud bowl types. There were 2, O-B U-758's and a Locke U-757, but MSP insulators which makes them special to me! I was after the cross arm but they made it firewood before I got a chance.
