For the few porcelain collectors who fancy some of the modern day types of porcelain, I like to share some of my acquisitions now and again. Pictured is a version of a horizontal line post which does not employ flanges with external bolts. There are post types made with a central metal sleeve, which the two pieces of porcelain are permanently cemented together at the factory (Pre-assembled posts) as they are called. This insulator however, is made up of to separate units of post porcelain connected in the middle by a 3/4" mounting stud. With this being said, different lengths of "top" units could be exchanged to achieve a longer or shorter insulator according to voltage levels.
