This spectacular piece was brought in for show-n-tell by its owner. He is very confident its color is the real deal. This elusive insulator is every collectors' dream come true! Its exact color is more like what you see in the dome area. This insulator has the "mold line over-dome" characteristic of Brookfield manufacture prior to 1890. The owner asked to remain anomymous and the insulator is not for sale.
