This type falls under the common index of the common single arc units, but it is anything but the same. These have a unique profile, as well as crudely engraved lettering, which in this case does NOT have the backwards "N" in the "N. Y.". Note the very wide space between the two letters peculiar to this style. This one has a few pecks and scuffs from use, but no real chips or whacks to speak of. Still wears the pinhole rust from where I found this in a barrel at a mine in Colorado. A crudely cut "12" with a backward "1" adorns the reverse crown. A hard to find CREB pony. $18 + shipping. |
