As James has written, we spent a week in France, checking out spots I had earlier hunted back in 2004. Back then I posted some pix on this forum as well.

Here we see James at one of these wagons loaded with half rotten pole stumps. All the remaining gingerbread insulators are damaged. I picked many isolateurs d'oreilles from these wagons back in 2002 and 2004, and so has also other collectors...
