This is one of the few insulators my good friend, Kyle, and I had time to stop and pick off a pole while on our cross-Canada road trip last summer. The piece is one of the most unusual Canadian insulators, in that it is clearly just a normal B CD 145, but Grand Trunk Pacific decided to commission Brookfield to emboss their name on the rear skirt. The result: a classy combination of Canadian telegraph history, and American industrial glass manufacturing. The glass is clean and shiny, and a few amber swirls run throughout the dome. Part of "T.P." is ghost embossed on the rear skirt as an added bonus. The condition of the piece looks great. As a matter of fact, I see absolutely nothing wrong with it. Let's call it VNM though, just in case. I'm asking $12.00 U.S. plus shipping for this piece. Not one that you would come across too often, at least certainly not around these parts. I accept PayPal, and personal cheques or money orders from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. Please feel free to email me for more photos, or with any questions. I encourage you to look through my "For Sale (Not Sold)" stock, and combine items to save on shipping. All the best! |
