This piece of a Hawley (CD 102?) was found in Stephens County Georgia. A friend of mine ran across the piece while searching for Indian artifacts in the dried up bed of Lake Hartwell along the Tugalo River section of the lake. As you can see, the piece is some sort of Light Green with many potstones within the glass.

My question is, were Hawley's found this far south? I've never ran across any in this area, nor have I ever talked to any collectors regarding if they had found any in Georgia or other southern states.

Can anyone shed some light on this? THANKS!!
