Certainly one of the heaviest 145s I have owned, I have decided to let my best dome-glassed B No. 44 go up for sale! This one is a mould number '2' below the "No. 44" on the rear. The colour of this one is a nice, dark blue aqua (not nearly as teal blue as this photo shows). The crystal ball dome (a whopping 1 1/8" of dome glass), and almost equally heavy skirt area, are nicely strewn with classy, medium-sized bubbles in fairly large quantities, as well as Brookfield's classic carbon streaks, milky bits, etc. The rear half of this piece is absolutely covered in straw marks, as well! The condition of the piece is good, with mostly just the normal inner-edge base flaking, caused by the sharp inner edge of the rounded base. There is also a micro-fleabite on the front crown, and a razor-thin rear, upper-wire-ridge flake, measuring 3/ 32" wide at it's widest, and 1/2" long. Believe me, this flake is almost invisible, as it follows the contours of the mould line that runs around the base of the dome. I had never noticed it before when I first started typing this message! I'm asking $19.00 U.S. plus shipping for this heavy fellow. I accept PayPal, and personal cheques or money orders from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. Please feel free to email me for more photos, or with any questions. I encourage you to look through my "For Sale (Not Sold)" stock, and combine items to save on shipping. All the best! |
