These two pieces, when shown together as they are, certainly help illustrate how unique, and incredibly interesting these SDP Brookfield CD 102 ponies can be! The example on the left is a nice, dark yellow green example with some really nifty snow chunks, and a long, stringy trail of junk running through the rear skirt. There is a large '3' embossed on the dome top. The example on the right is a most unusual "light jade aqua" shade. These pieces stand out like a sore thumb in a group of normal aqua Brookfield 102s, and yet the shade of Jade isn't translucent enough to compare to the likes of a jade H.G.Co. 145. I would hesitate to call it the "jade green milk" shade listed in the guide, and yet is is most certainly a shade of jade - perhaps vaseline glass of some sort. The piece has all sorts of snow and pieces of junk contained within it, and a large 'X2' embossed on the dome top.

Both examples have some damage. The yellow green example has a couple tiny fleabites on the dome top, and a 1/8" fisheye on the rear crown. That is the extent of the damage above the base, as gthe piece has 6 chipped drips, one of which, at the left mould line, extends up the outside of the skirt about 1/8" into the mould line. Another in the rear skirt has a small fan crack associated with it (very small, about 1/4" tall, and under 1/2" wide - nearly invisible). The jade piece has 8 chipped drips, one of which has a fairly nasty discoloured fancrack running off of it that runs 1 1/4" long by 3/8" high, but is entirely in the rear skirt. There is one tiny fleabite on the front dome. All in all, neither piece is too bad, and both would add some great colour to a lineup of SDP Brookfield 102s.
