Up for grabs this day is a most unusual Brookfield CD 152, one that I am led to believe doesn't occur too frequently in the wilds of the United States, but does tend to turn up around here from time to time. As Mr. Burger has mentioned on a couple of occasions, some pretty unusual "blue" Brookfields tend to turn up in Canada, and this is one of them. The piece is a [005] Brookfield CD 152, with an '8' embossed on the dome top, a rounded base ({MLOB}), nicely off-centred embossing, and in an awesome blue colour that absolutely sparkles in natural lighting! There are a whole lot of nice, bright snow chunks suspended in the glass, as well! The condition of the piece is good - the only damage I can see is a tiny no-glass-missing flake about 1/16" wide, and 1/4" long on the lower wire ridge, just in front of the left mould line. Oh, and there's a bit of nibbling on the over-poured base and inner skirt edges. On the inner skirt, there's an area about 5/8" long of the stuff, but certainly nothing that detracts from the piece as a whole. I'm asking $10.00 U.S. plus shipping for this piece. I accept PayPal, and personal cheques or money orders from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. Please feel free to email me for more photos, or with any questions. I encourage you to look through my "For Sale (Not Sold)" stock, and combine items to save on shipping. All the best! |
