I found this porcelain signal in a crate of insulators one day when I had been invited over to view a collectors' collection. He does not know anything about this particular piece, as they have acquired many throughout the years. The question is, is it fake? It is very crude in design, the glaze is very uneven, several variations throughout the glaze in the piece, and has a "dot" on the dome about the size of a dime. I am wondering if this is fake, or a consequence of poor QC. Any and all help is appreciated.
