Really cool character piece! Light wisp of steam across the top of the pinhole; speaking of which, the pinhole is distorted, and has that typical "threadless look" at the top from the threading mandrel. The coolest thing of all is that there is a line of tiny bubbles in the threads that goes from top to bottom, giving it a continous bubbly look. There are also straw marks, a flat bubble in the middle of the steam up on top, and a piece of potstone in the dome. The base looks to have an even, continuous overpour which is slightly wider than the skirt, and has a tiny nibbled finish all the way around. Never seen one quite like it before. As far as damage, there is a tiny clamshell chip on the lower edge of the wire groove; 3 tiny clamshells on the upper edge of the w/g; a 2" by 1/4" base chip that takes out the last half of the embossing; some typical annealing cracks for this style; a 1/4" scratch, couple of fleabites, and an L-shaped crack in the inner skirt. Sounds much worse than it really is. Mint book is 40-50, how about $27 shipt to the lower 48 states.
