Here's a nice piece with lots of character; there's amber in the ears, straw marks on the surface, a few small pieces of firebrick, and a number of bubbles scattered throughout. Bubbles seem to be concentrated towards the base edge, and there are also a couple of lines of bubbles in the threads you see when looking from the base into the pinhole. Cool! Damage consists of 3 open bubbles on the base (factory); a 1/2 x 1/8 flake chip on the rim; a 1/8" no-glass missing clear fisheye, and a couple of factory annealing cracks. There's also a curious sliver of what looks like black metal in the front skirt to the right of the embossing. Talk about a character piece! The more you look at it, the more you see going on.
