There is something to be said about the distinctiveness of the glass quality of both generations of Brookfield's glass insulator manufacturing. This piece would be easily identifiable as a Brookfield piece, even if it were unmarked. However, this [010] (Dome number 'backwards 10') sports quite the nice B, as it is one of the type with a monstrous, 1/2" tall B embossed on the front skirt. Overall, this one is a crude beast, with a large lehr kiss on the front skirt to the right of the embossing, several sizeable bubbles, and straw marks covering the piece all over. The crisp, bright blue glass screams "old!".

The condition of this one is nice, as an added bonus. The damage is limited to a couple scuffs & pings. There is a "scuff" measuring 1/4" by 1/4" on the rear skirt, as well as a flat skirt flake measuring 1/8" by 1/8" on the rear skirt. There are also a couple tiny micro-pings on the rear dome.

I'm asking $17.00 U.S. plus shipping for this example. A piece in the same colour was advertised as being "sapphire blue" on eBay several months back, and sold for well over $100.00. I accept PayPal, and personal cheques or money orders from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. Please feel free to email me for more photos, or with any questions. I encourage you to look through my "For Sale (Not Sold)" stock, and combine items to save on shipping. All the best!
