Hey you MUD hogs. Here's a couple, actually three, I would like to share and ask for discussion about. I am quite sure that the two on the left are U-114s and on the far right is a U-113 and it's there just to show off and compare sizes. The U-114s are similar in shape but are almost as different in height between each other as the 113 is from the shorter of the two. The taller one fits the dimensions in the book exactly and actually looks more like the drawing but the shorter one seems more common to me. Now I believe we DO NOT need more U numbers but then what about the differences in these three. I have been told as a relative newbie to porcelain collecting that: "It's simply a matter of difference in trimming". Do you think that's the case here?

I'm NOT trying to stir up trouble but am just trying to get a handle on this MUD identification stuff. O.K., maybe I'm trying to stir up just a LITTLE trouble.
