Up for grabs this 'eve is a very unusual B CD 145. The number of nicely junk'd Brookfield products on ICON has increased rather dramatically lately, but by no means does this detract from their remarkable likeability. This piece is especially likeable.

The piece is a [037] B CD 145. The same mould style as the B No. 44, but no 'No. 44' on the rear. It's got the rounded base, with the {MLOB} feature. The colour is a standard Brookfield dark aqua - standard for later production pieces, that is. I'd guess these are a little older than the B No. 44 pieces, though. The condition is good, with the only real damage I can see being a 1/2" by 1/4" long flake off the underside of the upper wire ridge, above and to the left of the 'B'. Short of that, there is one fleabite on the rear dome, and one on the left, lower skirt edge. A little bit of standard 'production' flaking around the inside edge of the rounded base, and a little on the base of the inner skirt, too. Nothing to get into a fret over, though.

The insulator has an interesting 'two-face' effect when viewed from the front skirt. The left half is clean and reasonable quality... relative to the right half, that is. The whole insulator is filled with awesome seed bubbles, milky swirls, carbon swaths, and bits and pieces of potstone. As an added bonus, the space in between the inner skirt and the skirt is malformed all around the insulator - you can see bulges and inconsistencies all around the base of the inner skirt. The greatest concentration of quality 'junk in glass' is in the right half of the insulator. The photo attached is taken from the right side of the insulator, while underlit. You can see the absolute mess of swirls, streaks, a swaths all throughout that half. There are some in the left side, but nothing like the right. The streaks continue right into the rear skirt. It really is an incredible piece! Some of the streaks are visible on the very base edge, and when the light is reflected off of them the right way, they exhibit a metallic, silver shine. I'm guessing they are carbon streaks, but it's tough to say... they sure look metallic on the base!

I'm asking $30.00 U.S. plus shipping for this one. I accept personal cheques from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. Please feel free to email me for more photos. Also - peruse my unsold items in the "For Sale - not sold" folder, and consider combining purchases to save on shipping. All the best!
