This is a pretty tough and desirable piece not often seen for sale. A catalog specimen, albeit mint, sold this year for 1,400.00! This one has it's share of imperfections. I'll describe them including URL's of the two most significant areas of damage.

The left rear ridge above the skirt has a 1" x 3/8" shallow chip ( http://www.scattercreek.com/~inthewoods/Skirt.JPG ); The top rear point of the ears has a rough spot about 3/8" square ( http://www.scattercreek.com/~inthewoods/Ear.JPG ); the base has been ground 360 degrees to remove overpoured glass (this is done at the factory and is not considered damage). The grinding wheel also caught two short sections of the ridge on the right front and left rear; the lower tips of the left and upper tips of the right ears have nibbles; there is a 1 1/4" long shallow bruise on the base on the left side behind the mold line; and there are a few small scratches and pencil point and match head size pings here and there. The good news is that it displays good as you can see in the primary photo.
