No, it's frost. The amount of ice on those trees appears to look like snow. The poor bird sitting in the tree on the left must be frozen solid. The last two nights have seen temperatures plunge well into the low 20's. The daytime temperatures have also been below freezing meaning each night the ice accumulates. In parts of Scotland they've had single digit lows over the last few nights. I know most of you guys are used to such low temperatures with 8 foot icicles but over here we normally see temperatures just below freezing with the ice melting during the day. |
