Photo taken in the vicinity of Railroad Street in the above community. Note the six-pin crossarms. These were commonplace for telegraph open-wire lines until the late teens or so. After that time longer, 8 to10-pin crossarms became pretty much the norm, especially with Western Union and other major telegraph companies throughout the United States.
