I recently won this insulator on an online auction site. The seller was in France so I am assuming it is a French insulator. The insulator looks like it was designed to take the wire around an angle or a corner. Does anyone know anything about this one? In this view a crude 34 is visible on one arm. Thanks! Fred

Thanks to Jean-Pierre Volatron from France we now know this is a French Hook Insulator. Too bad the hook is missing. I may get a new hook fabricated.
