I live in the small village of Glendale Ohio. We are recognized as a national landmark, with the same designation of the Alamo and Mount Rushmore. A few blocks away from me is the home that Daniel Carroll Hemingray once lived in. We are approximately 13 miles north of where the Covington factory was. It was this home that he was driving to when he suffered a stroke while crossing the Ohio River and died a few days later. He was quite an accomplished man, a classmate of William Taft and even had a degree from MIT! It's pretty cool to have this piece of history right around the corner from my home!
