As I write this, wicked weather is happening in many distant parts of the United States. Snowfall in Las Vegas and recently eight inches fell in New Orleans. Rather unheard of. Not to mention the nearly 18 inches we just got here in eastern Massachusetts (the forecast was for 8-12 inches). With **more** predicted on the way, here in southern New England we often measure snowfall by the foot. And encrusted ice-storms by the inch that bring *everything* that's outdoors.....crashing down. All of this...and Winter officially isn't here yet. Kinda scary thinking of what's in store in coming months in this neck of the woods.

Anyway, here's a picture of a rare snow scene in Los Angeles. So, I guess weird weather was happening back then, too?
