This is a photograph of an original ink & graphite drawing of the Burlington Glass Works that sold at an auction in April 2008.

If you look to the left of the Burlington works, you'll notice that there are three smoke stacks in the background - these would have belonged to the Hamilton Glass Co. [id=233773884 ] which was only a few blocks away.

This is from 1874, before the enlargement of the plant and before the name changed Burlington Glass Company.

UPDATE - this drawing was sold again by auction in Jan 2010
