I just bought this piece on Friday and am amazed at the lack of glaze on the piece. Only about 1/3 of the piece is glazed and the rest is completely rough and unglazed. It is almost reminiscent of cookies and cream ice cream. This has to be one of the crudest pieces of porcelain I have.
