Everybody likes these old time Brookfields, especially when they are crispy clean. This is a W.BROOKFIELD over 45 CLIFF ST. N.Y. and on the reverse side of the dome PAT. JAN 25 1870. The mold line over the dome is not as strong as the very heavy mold lines on the skirt. The embossing is readable and about what you expect on these old Brookfields.
