Not often seen, these Script emb'd No.9's date to the 1893-1895 period. This one has 7 pecks to the back side, 2 of which result in some shallow shipping / rough area to the upper wire ridge. Base is almost flawless ... something truly remarkable with these damage prone oldies. Nice early No.9 ! $25 + postage.
