This CD 104 is arc embossed NEW ENG TEL & TEL CO. on the front skirt with a period only after the "O" in CO. The white outline depicts a blotting slug that is slightly embossed on the rear skirt with a round spot in the center that is embossed even deeper. My question is: as there are so few embossings listed for CD 104's what embossing could be large enough to require a blot out of this size?
