I picked this up on a recent trip to California in the lovely little burgh of Weed. This is a Brookfield-made Star signal in the not-so-commonly seen CD 161 style. I have overheard collectors say they are looking for this style from time to time, so I picked it up to pass along here. It has a nice glob of white crystalline material right above the upper wire ridge in front and a really cool bubble in the dome - see off to left side. The bad news is it has some inner skirt chipping and a base / skirt bruise in back and maybe a couple picks-n-pecks scattered about. The other good news is the price : Just pay for postage and it is yours for free. It displays quite nice and does have some nice character.
