Example of a nice, quiet street here in this New York state community. An "alley-arm" style pole line (for wire clearance) ran in front of some of these vintage houses providing either electric or telephone service. With the thickly adorned, stately and tall trees I'm sure that branch trimming was a big job here. Fiesty storms that lashed the northeast in subsequent years got a lot of that done by Mother Nature... I'm sure!
