Micro crystalline world.

My son found this piece of gem flint at Flint Ridge Ohio and most of the surface is glazed with a film of micro druzy quartz crystals. The crystals are about the size and texture of 120 grit sandpaper sand grains, so they're very tiny. Here is a closeup of the crystal surface and you can see the gem flint colours below which look remarkably like an eye staring at you.
