I took the dog on an afternoon walk/hike along a Sierra telegraph line I have known about. Here is a square-nail peg almost gone into a huge Ponderosa pine. No insulators visible, many may have been 'swallowed' up by the now huge pines. It was a beautiful sunny Fall afternoon in the Sierra, snow will be here soon.
