I have no info regarding where in the Atlanta vicinity this real photograph was taken. However the photographer was approaching a bridge and what-looks-like a double crossarm six-pin crossarm telegraph line pararelled it along the right. Undoubtedly the railway and telegraph line as seen was constructed soon after the Civil War. If one could find this spot today it probably yield to where the pole line was and possibly the insulators upon it...given the geography, etc., of this area. |
