With Vietnam-era milirary surplus. The transmitter is a T-195, the receiver an R-392. The Jeep in which they ar emounted is 1960s viltage. Covers HF (High Frequency, AKA "shortwave" portion of the RF spectrum, plate modulated, full-carrier AM, about 100 watts output.

I used to own this particular transmitter,, the receiver is the same type, but not the same unit, that I once owned around 20 years ago.

All tubes, no ICs or microprocessors in these babies!
