Vintage view of a neighborhood in this small New York State community depicting what the surroundings looked like a century ago! Note the electric distribution transformer centered on the pole with what probably was two wooden fuse cutouts (for the transformer) on the crossarm above. The gooseneck streetlight was typical of its day. A CD 280 (or similar) was used as an insulating joint between the fixture and the pipe bracket.
