I realized my mistake after writing this post and wanted to correct the assumption I made concerning Americans and KCGWs - The only similarity I see is the very thin edge of the upper part of the wire groove. After talking with Gene Hawkins I was also able to ascertain that the CD 134 KCGWs had two different base diameters: 2 7/8" and 3": The piece on the left has the more common 2 7/8" diameter.
