Great nostalgic photo depicting this famous bridge in New York City. Apparently it was not sold at this time (lol!!) so therefore anyone who wanted to walk along it, photograph, etc..was well welcome to! In subsequent years I believe electric arc lights replaced the gas lights as seen along the left.
