While hunting for early classic porcelain insulators yesterday in the mountains west of Denver, we eyeballed this 1895 storefront structure with some very cool cast iron brackets mounted between the first and second floors. The brackets look like they may be from the era of the original construction, while the insulators now installed are replacements that the building owner, perhaps a collector, has put up to replace the long gone insulators originally installed.
