Even with all of the self inflicted damage this piece is still my favorite CD 134 Pennycuick. I bought this close to four years ago and, being naive, I decided to give it a soak in some water/wood bleach solution. The piece was close to being clean, but I guess I was a perfectionist and this is the result of my "perfectionism"... The solution was too cold and after taking the pennycuick inside the house the crack was only about 2" long; it grew considerably around the dome shortly thereafter. I've learned my lesson since then and have a perfect reminder of what not to do.
