Winnipeg Hydro was owned by the City of WInnipeg (Manitoba-Canada) to service the central area of the city up until it was taken/bought out by the provincially owned Manitoba Hydro (2002). The following is a few pictures of older poles around the city originally built by WInnipeg Hydro. Their standards for construction were enitirely different then the Manitoba Hydro building standards of the time. The above picture is the old Wpg Hydro service bay. The trucks with the Yellow and Blue stripes on them are the former City Hydro trucks.
