We found this on a central Ohio rail trail over the weekend. It is nearly 4 inches long, the glass is nearly 1/2 inch thick, and it appears to be part of a perfect cylinder of aqua glass. No threads inside. Could it be part of a Wade insulator? UPDATE: We took this thing to the Springfield show. It was analyzed by experts and compared to actual insulators, and it is in fact a substantial chunk of a CD 723.3 WADE. We are happy, and would like to find the rest of it. Happy hunting. |
