Friend of mine on a repair crew, dispatched to Texas, sent me a few photos of theHurricane IKE storm damage.

This one is of Port Fourchon, note that the streets are still flooded, as the repair trucks arrived last week.

Last weekend, when I was travelling back to NH rrom NC, along I-81 in Virginia and Pennsylvania, there were literally hundreds more of these repair trucks heading southbound, along with numerous "Asplundh" wood chipper and cherry picker trucks. They definitely have their work cut out for them...
