Walking back to our vehicle along the tracks at the close of a very successful day of hunting, eagle-eyed Debbie spotted this little feller on one of the ties. He wasn't too shy at first, but since it had been cool and rainy, I think he was a little sluggish, and once the heat from her hand warmed him up a bit, he got a little more active in a hurry... This first picture was the best. Cute little bugger, eh? We wanted to take him home, but that would have been... ahem.... "anole retentive"... ;-)
