Swedish and French no-tie insulators

This photo shows two old Swedish no-tie insulators used for railroad telegraph. This pattern originates from around 1870, and was used together with a heavy iron wire. I was fortunate to find a few of these last summer on a standing pole. The insulator in the centre is a French design, found on a house in the Champagne-Ardenne region.

Sorry, no known U-numbers on these...
