Last year we ran across this unusual 'transposition' of lines. These are the original square poles along a U.P. signal stretch in eastern Nevada. Note that the crossarm of the nearest pole is new. I know there's a lineman out there that can tell me why they did this. Was it for lack of transposition brackets?
