A couple weeks ago, we took a rail-trail walk in central Ohio. We took our telescoping light bulb changing apparatus with us, which allows an upward reach of roughly 15 feet. We spun this nice CD 214 off its abandoned pole and brought it home for the collection. Another common insulator, but the ones we bring home from the wild are more exciting than the purchased ones. Happy Hunting, Greg & Christopher Fairborn, OH EDIT: the embossing says "Hemingray - 43". For some reason, at the angle I took the pic, it looks like a 42. this is not a rare mis-marked insulator. Thanks to the reader that inquired. |
