I had very high hopes for this collection, but suffered a major disappointment. His story was that he worked as a lineman for California oil companies and wrecked out lines on farm and ranch lands purchased or leased by the oil companies, then rebuilt new lines with clear glass insulators. Most of the insulators went into the pole holes because ranchers complained that cattle were breaking their legs in the unfilled pole holes. Supposedly he kept only the stuff that interest him and buried the rest. Next photo [id=224683087]
