She has just returned home from the west coast. Many may have seen it displayed in the National 2008 CD display just a few weeks ago. The piece is a beautiful green that really stand out in a backlit case. The condition is as follows: 2 dome chips, a dome scuff and a BB sized bruise. The wire groove (on the CD 136.4s these are almost always chipped to some degree) there 3 chips on the upper wire rim and 4 chips on the lower wire rim. There is a flake on the skirt just above the base. The base has 3 very small flakes and a larger chip. See photos for better description. Has the dome dot and mold line over the dome. This is a hard to find color and in an early telegraph piece from Canada. It does have some milk swirling through it, especially seen above the top of the pinhole. $3,500 shipped to you. I am still collecting Grand Canyons and smaller Stars in tough colors or unusual character. Will consider trades. |
