These tiny fruits are very commonly found in lawns, abandoned lots and waste areas. The fruits which basically are tiny garden pea sized strawberries have the seeds external of the fruit rather than internal and the fruit itself has no food value. They are edible berries but have no taste and are too small to be interesting as table fare.
