I recently tried the "jewel weed cure" as outlined in Chris McLelland's ' posting here: [id=203918194]

And, yes, it worked very well. I had a bad PI breakout on my right ankle, and I went out to the back yard and picked about a dozen of the plants, boiled them up, and made about 2 quarts of the "magic elixir" and then soaked paper towels in the still-warm juice, and applied them to the irritated area. The itching stopped almost immediately, and my skin was completely cured, with frequent applications, in just three days!

I have a large area of Jewel Weed in teh back yard, and for years I tried to eliminate it, and every year the overgrown areas just grew more and more... Now I treat it as a blessing and not a curse...
